WWE released a soundbyte video interview with Dave Bautista discussing his decision to return to WWE after a four-year absence.

- Batista stressed the storyline explanation that he wants to be on top of WWE as Undisputed champion, which is now possible after WWE united their top titles at the last PPV in December. "I think that's why this is a perfect time for me to return," Batista said.

- Through his post-WWE training in MMA, Batista acknowledged changing his body type to focus more on agility and speed than being overly-muscular.

"I'm much more well-rounded. I just have to my arsenal," Batista said. "I dropped a little weight. I used to think that power was the way to go. Now, I think more along the lines of speed and agility."

Next was audio of Batista commenting on his opposition, which wasn't made clear if he was referring to MMA opponents or scripted WWE foes.

"I realize I'm competing against guys who are much younger, but you can't convince me that they're tougher or more well-rounded. Definitely not more experienced. I don't think anyone can measure heart or desire. And, those are two things I've had my whole life. Some guys never have them. They might have all the skill in the world and have youth on their side, but if they don't have heart or desire, they don't have anything. I see right through them," Batista said.

- Batista talked about his MMA training through the Gracie Fighter system and his relationship with UFC fighter Nick Diaz. Batista said he will continue Jiu-Jitsu training at the Gracie Academy as he pursues a black belt.

- Batista commented on undergoing back surgery after leaving WWE, which he said "saved his life" after suffering a spinal fracture in his final WWE match in May 2010.
