WrestleMania 30 is eight months away as of this week, and the long-term booking plans are already starting to change, according to the Wrestling Observer. And they will continue to change based on the availability of talent and direction of WWE's top storyline involving the McMahon Family Drama.

WWE's priority is finding the right mix of talent and match-ups to get WM30 back on-track after WM29 was essentially a wash compared to WM28.

One of the biggest question marks is the availability of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. If Austin returns, the match that was floated around is Austin vs. Triple H for control of WWE. That is off the table for now, according to the Observer. Part of that is because WWE no longer sees Hunter as the heel in the long-term McMahon Family Drama plans.

In a Drama full of inconsistencies, Vince McMahon has more often than not been the heel in this storyline - playing the "grumpy old wrestling promoter" who wants to see his top star and the #1 contender to the WWE Title "spontaneously combust." Whereas, Hunter has played the "voice of the people" by vouching for Daniel Bryan. WWE could flip this to turn Hunter heel, but Vince has settled into the heel role.

Another question mark is Stephanie McMahon, especially how viewers are supposed to react to Stephanie's over-acting - is she over-acting because she's a bad actress in this role or is she over-acting to set up Hunter and/or Vince for a power grab?

There are five months to move from Rough Draft to Firm Outline before the Royal Rumble in January 2014 when WWE typically finalizes what they want to do at WrestleMania.

Will "Stone Cold" be available? Will Sting be available when his TNA contract expires in January, or will Sting re-sign with TNA? Or, retire? Will The Rock be available? And if so, does WWE want to pay his salary again?

One aspect not being questioned right now is the availability of The Undertaker. There are usually question marks about Taker all throughout the year leading up to Mania, but Taker worked past this year's Mania to the point of taking a triple powerbomb through a table from The Shield to be written off TV. Also, Taker spends most of the year preparing his body for the next WrestleMania, going through various physical therapy sessions to be in-shape to perform at his high standard.

Overall, one clear storyline direction is the McMahons fighting for control of WWE over the next eight months leading to WM30. What the match-ups look like and how the pieces fall into place this fall leading to Royal Rumble Season remains to be seen.
