Smackdown SPOILERS 6/24

Smackdown starts off with a Teddy Long-Christian segment where Teddy tells Christian he can earn a title rematch if he can beat Kane tonight.

(1) Sin Cara beat Ted DiBiase after SC hits the pommel horse DDT.

Cody Rhodes comes out with his usual brown bag show and Daniel Bryan makes his way out to tell Cody that looks don't matter and his dad, Dusty, was proof. Dusty had charisma, integrity, was exciting, and Cody lacks all those qualities.

(2) Cody Rhodes beat Daniel Bryan with Cross-Rhodes.

Big Show is interviewed and Mark Henry gives him the chocolate-town beatdown.

(3) Intercontinental champion Ezekiel Jackson beat Wade Barrett with the Torture Rack.

Next week on Raw: Sin Cara vs. Evan Bourne

Orton interview segment: Normally, Orton strikes me as Hayden Christiansen playing the role of Anakin Vader auditioning for the role of Lord Voldemort, but for some reason, this time he struck me as a young Clint Eastwood.

(4) Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel beat The Usos. The match had a great ending spot - Jimmy went for the big Superfly splash off the top rope, but got Slater's knees instead. Slater promptly turned the effect of that counter into a small package.

Jinder Mahal came out with Great Khali to face Yoshi Tatsu. Jinder and Khali beat Yoshi down before the match started, though, and Jinder followed it up with a heel promo.

(5) Kane beat Christian via DQ. Christian-Kane was a great match until Mark Henry came down to interfere, giving Kane the DQ win.

It looked like Christian wouldn't get his re-match, but Teddy Long came out and gave Christian another chance if Christian and Henry could beat Kane and Orton. Orton then came out to the biggest pop of the night.

(6) Christian & Mark Henry beat World Hvt. champion Randy Orton & Kane. Henry slapped the World's Strongest Chocolatetown Avalanche on Orton for the pin. Christian gets the title re-match.

End of Smackdown taping.

Teddy came out and, I kid you not, does the Hollah Dance for the camera for a good 20 seconds. Teddy tells Christian he's earned his shot and that it will be a Street Fight for the title.

Dark Match: World Hvt. champion Randy Orton beat Christian in a Street Fight to retain the World Title. The dark main event ended with Sheamus interfering via Brogue Kick on Christian. Orton then RKO'ed Sheamus, Christian (for the win), and then Mark Henry.
