WWE champion Sheamus was interviewed by the Chicago Now blog to promote Sunday's Night of Champions PPV in Chicago. The following are highlights from the interview.

-- Sheamus, in-character, threw out a challenge for The Undertaker at WrestleMania 27, hinting at a possible match-up being bandied about within WWE.

"I think personally I'm so confident in myself I believe I could easily take The Undertaker's undefeated streak away from him at WrestleMania," Sheamus said, almost reflecting on his own character's hubris. "That's if he has the nerve to go with me down there. Maybe he's scared of me? Maybe he feels like he knows I could take him, you know?"

Later in the interview, Sheamus said it's "only a matter of time" before he faces Taker at WrestleMania.

-- Sheamus claimed ownership of the "youth revolt" in WWE that also includes The Miz, Nexus, Jack Swagger, and Drew McIntyre. He hit the talking point that WWE is trying to freshen up the talent roster and create new storylines.

"I feel personally that I helped open the door for the youth revolt and I think it's working quite well," he said. "New storylines, fresh WWE Superstars, and I can certainly guarantee you from the last time we were in Chicago for a pay-per-view to this time now, there's going to be a whole lot of new faces there. It's gonna bring something fresh to the audience, and not watching the same stuff over and over again."

The last WWE PPV in Chicago was Judgment Day in May 2009. It's interesting to note that four of the wrestlers scheduled for the Six-Pack Challenge at Night of Champions were in the top four matches at Judgment Day 2009.

The main event was Edge (six-pack) vs. Jeff Hardy. Prior to that, the top matches included John Cena (six-pack) vs. Big Show, Randy Orton (six-pack) vs. Batista, and Chris Jericho (six-pack) vs. Rey Mysterio.
