WWE Raw HOLT (Happenings Off Live TV) Report
February 22, 2010
Indianapolis, Ind.
Report by Cody Gerard, Torch reader

TripleHArt_130GG_66.jpg
I went to Raw last night in Indianapolis and the best part of the night didn't air on the USA Network. After Batista laid waste to Cena and the tears of children everywhere finally started to dry up, it was "Time to Play the Game." Triple H's music came on and he came down to the ring in his street attire. He said that he was in the back thinking to himself that someone should go out there and help Cena, but he couldn't do it because the doctors wouldn't clear him to wrestle on Raw. He then looked at the crowd and asked what time it was. He went on to say that technically Raw was over and then told Batista that if he was looking for a fight then, "Come play the Game."

After a few minutes, Batista's music cued and he walked out. He made it about three-fourths down the ramp when Jericho's music took over and out came the World Heavyweight champion stating that he wanted a piece of Triple H. He said that he and Batista would destroy Hunter (hinting towards a two-on-one handicap match) as they entered the ring. But before that could go down, Edge's intro hit and the Fieldhouse erupted. He came to the ring in street attire with mic in hand and proceeded to be extremely funny. Just as the bell rang, he said, "I'm gonna steal a page from DX's book. You can order these shirts from www.wweshopzone.com."

Dark Match: Triple H & Edge beat World Hvt. champion Chris Jericho & WWE champion Batista. Hunter and Jericho started things off. They went back and forth for a few minutes with Hunter getting the best of Jericho. Hunter tagged in Edge and Jericho wanted no part of Edge, so he tagged in Batista posthaste. Edge and Batista were matched fairly equally. Batista hit Edge with a power move and then a clothesline, which brought in Jericho. The beating continued for a couple of minutes before Edge turned it around and hit Jericho with the Edgecution. They both hot tagged in their respective partners. Batista and Hunter proceeded to throw down with Batista coming out on top. He then tagged in Jericho, who took a beating right as he entered the ring.

As Jericho crawled to his corner to make the tag, Batista told him he was on his own and he walked away. That left Jericho standing in the middle of the ring with his back turned to an eager-to-strike Hunter. As Jericho realized that he was in for a beating of a lifetime, he turned into Hunter, who politely told him to "suck it," and then hit the Pedigree. At this point, Edge was practically doing somersaults on the ring apron as the crowd chanted for a spear. Hunter milked the fans chant in a Hulk Hogan fashion asking them if they wanted to see Edge spear Jericho. After a 30-second uproar from the crowd, Hunter finally tagged in a very energetic Edge, who went to the corner and proceeded to taunt Jericho for the spear. Not to be out done by Edge's funny banter before the match, Hunter ran over to the corner where Edge was standing and stuck the upper half of his body through the ropes and taunted Jericho for the spear as well. Very, very funny to see in person. Jericho then turned around into Edge who speared him for the win.

After the match, Hunter and Edge shook hands, hugged, and then laughed. Hunter then thanked everyone for coming out and he went around the ring giving everyone high fives and pic opportunities. Awesome ending to an awesome show.
