Dark Match: Cryme Tyme beat Eric Escobar & Mike Knox in 4 minutes. Shad finished off Knox with his finisher. JTG fought the majority of the bout.
Superstars taping for Thursday's show
ECW match: Shelton Benjamin defeated Zack Ryder via count-out. Zack was distracted by Rosa Mendes. Poor match.
Smackdown match: Matt Hardy beat D.H. Smith (w/Tyson Kidd and Natalya) via a small package. Tyson Kidd and Natalya distracted the referee, but Hardy took advantage and picked up the three count.
Smackdown taping for Friday's show
C.M. Punk cut a promo on the UK public, bringing up his straight-edge lifestyle. R-Truth interrupted and talked up the UK crowd.
(1) C.M. Punk beat R-Truth after a decent match-up.
(2) Natalya beat Mickie James via submission with the Sharpshooter. Natalya used a distraction from Women's champion Michelle McCool ringside to aid in the victory. Decent build for the five-on-five divas match at Survivor Series.
(3) Finlay beat Drew McIntyre via DQ. Drew was pounding on Finlay for too long, so the ref called it a DQ. Drew then turned the shillelagh on Finlay on two occasions. Fans seemed to be begging for Finlay's mercy.
Batista and Rey Mysterio had a contract signing. Original contract was signed by both superstars. Batista proposed an additional contract, stating that Batista is not liable for the harm caused to Rey at Survivor Series. Rey initially refused, but later signed the contract. Rey flipped the table on top of Batista, allowing him to escape Batista's wrath. Batista looked a fool glaring at Rey down the ramp under a table cloth!
(4) IC champion John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler for IC Title ended in a no-contest due to double count-out. This was an amazing fight that got the crowd involved. Seemed like a continuation of the feud and will lead to a two-out-of-three falls match on next week's Smackdown.
(5) Beth Phoenix defeated a local competitor in a two-minute squash. Straight forward squash, with heel heat for Beth.
(6) The Undertaker beat Chris Jericho via Hells Gate submission. UK crowd was well behind Taker. Jericho seemed to have it won, leading to a Walls Of Jericho, but Taker reversed into Hells Gate. Jericho tapped out. Following this, Big Show interrupted and beat down on Taker. The tag champs then locked in the double Walls and Camel Clutch. Kane interrupted this and leveled the playing field!
Smackdown Dark Match: Undertaker defeated C.M. Punk in a Casket Match. Steady match that went four minutes. Taker chokeslammed Punk onto the apron and rolled him into the casket for the win. Unnecessary, but sent the crowd home happy!
