TV/Movie actor Lauren Mayhew debuted at Tuesday night's WWE Smackdown taping as the new ring announcer replacing Lilian Garcia.

Mayhew fits WWE's desire to have youthful TV personalities. She is 24 years old and has been featured in several "college hi-jinks" movies, including American Pie Band Camp.

One of her most prominent TV appearances was a one-time role in an episode of CSI Miami in 2005. She was in the same episode as former WCW valet Kimberly Page, the ex-wife of Diamond Dallas Page. Kimberly also played a one-time role on the series.

Caldwell's Analysis: Somewhat ironic that I just watched the "Under Suspicion" episode that featured Mayhew and Page. The local CBS affiliate airs re-runs of Jeopardy, then re-runs of CSI Miami every Sunday night, which is how I unwind after covering a WWE or TNA PPV. Anyways, Mayhew plays the role of "Stephanie" in the episode. I believe she is one of the girls in the opening scene when they crash a car into the water. Regarding Page, you never would have known it was her in the episode. She was only shown in side profile shots with dark lighting in a flashback scene. There's a music video of the episode that shows Page playing the role of Rachel Turner, a one-time fling for lead character Horatio Cane (played by David Caruso).
