WWE News: Smackdown featuring Jeff Hardy hit-and-run breaks another ratings record Jan 13, 2009 - 2:53:42 PM
Last Friday night's edition of WWE Smackdown, featuring the Jeff Hardy hit-and-run angle and Triple H running the Triple Jeopardy gauntlet, broke the previous ratings record on MyNetworkTV set on December 19.
WWE reports that last week's episode on January 9 scored a 2.2 rating and averaged 3.90 million viewers to break the previous record of a 2.1 rating and 3.87 million viewers.
Since moving to MyNet in October 2008, Smackdown has averaged 3.60 million viewers per episode, with every episode since Nov. 21 above the 3.70 million level.
Hardy's title run continues to be successful, but will HHH take credit for
this ratings breakthrough??? He did wrestle three times on the show!

pro wrestling.

So true, Kiz. So damn true.
Hopefully this is a damn neon sign to WWE that Triple H needs to be
properly utilized. His heart and courage in the face of insurmountable odds
placed by the conniving and manipulative duo, Edge and Vickie Guerrero, is
top draw stuff. Of course - this is gonna end with the "King of Kings"
prevailing because he truly is - that...damn...good. On your knees, dog!

The ratings were up because of jeff.Check out the ratings when the most
overrated wrestler this side of lexluger, rhino,or you can insert any past
nwo or current mem member.I know except angle whos top 10.hhh has
absolutely no character depth. His promos are exactly the same whether hes a
heel or face.he maybe friends with hbk but hes not qualified to carry his
jock. His idol flair was great because he elevated all the talent he
faced.HHH cant even bring himself to show fear when its called for him to.

Heres the prob. with trips. How is it ok for a face to make fun of the shape
of a woman when that women has the average womens body? How is it that a man
whos character is the cerebral assassin who watches tape to study your
weaknesses to defeat you is also a power wrestler?A brawler who beats foley
in a cell match.A man who needs flair, orton and batista to hold on to a
belt but when hes a face hes fearless against a monster like kozlov or a
giant like khai-lee?His 1980s move set with his warrior like entrance?when
hes not he-man hes nashs lil bro. They can have him break flairs record but
hes far below flair,hogan,savage,race,hbk,bret,undertaker,rock and
austin. If he wasnt married to steph hed be stinking it up in tna with the
other retreads.
