WWE News: First celebrity for WrestleMania 25 in the works - reality TV star with WWE connection Jan 13, 2009 - 12:13:00 PM
Reality TV star Tiffany "New York" Pollard from the "I Love New York" VH-1 series is being discussed as one of the major celebrities involved at WrestleMania 25 this year, reports mediatakeout.com.
Pollard has reportedly been in negotiations with WWE for months and the both sides are close to an agreement. The source cited by mediatakeout says Pollard could play an "integral role" at WrestleMania.
Pollard's connection to WWE is related to recent WWE developmental signee David "Punk" Otunga, who was on season two of "I Love New York" and nearly made the finals of the show.
WWE has a history of utilizing celebrities to hype the annual WrestleMania. Last year's Mania famously involved Floyd Mayweather beating Big SHow, Snoop Dogg kissing Maria, and Kim Kardashian doing whatever Kim Kardashian does.
What Kim Kardashian does is date New Orleans Saints running back Reggie
Bush, that's all she does. And one more thing Tiffany who? It's sad when WWE
thinks that's what a major celebrity is.

Major celebrity lol the WWE must be in more trouble financially than we
know if this is the best they can do. Who is next some contestants from
Paradise Hotel it was on Mynetwork tv after all. Plus isnt it funny that
they have been in negotiations for months with her.

Are you kidding me?Thats all kardashian is?She looks butt-er than all the
divas.She has a very good film out with BRANDY's bro.And a show on E! I
hope WWE puts the VON ERICHS FUNKS and BIRDS in this years HALL.

Yes, that's all Kim Kardashian is. She is very hot with the hottest
filled-out body I've ever seen, but she's completely worthless. Like the
also worthless Paris Hilton, Kardashian is famous because of family members
and hasn't had to work for a thing in her life.

Whether or not these reality TV figures are worthwhile human beings or
"work hard" is irrelevant here.
Kim Kardashian has a legitimate following among young viewers from her
reality TV show, so does "New York." That's why Kardashian was booked and
New York should be booked.

Sadly enough, having seen enough VH1 shows, as New York came from the Flava
Flav "finding love" reality TV shows, I know who she is, and if they
actually had her doing in-ring stuff, much less having her on the shows to
begin with, I think WWE would actually succeed in me losing respect for
them.

I really wouldn't trust meadia take out....the track record for that site
is ify at best. That doesnt mean New York wont be at the show....but
meadia takeout is usually wrong more often than they are right.

being that Wrestlemania 25 is going to be held in Texas...the soon to be
ex-president George W Bush should be part of this year's mania!!
It would actually make great ratings and 70,000 plus fans can all
unanimously boo him out of the Reliant!!

Mediatakeout was the same site that exclusively revealed:
- NFL's Ray Lewis signing a fight contract with the UFC
- Floyd Mayweather leaving boxing to fight in the UFC
- Eminem joining the WWE
That site has zero credibility when it comes to "exclusive" news.

Save the cash used on this nobody 'celebrity', split $5,000,000 between
Hogan and Austin and get that f*ckin match signed, its all I care about
