WWE News: Raw sneak peek - #1 Contender to John Cena's World Title determined tonight Dec 29, 2008 - 5:05:16 PM
Last week on Raw, three qualifying matches (and a forfeit) determined the final four wrestlers who will wrestle for a chance to become the #1 contender to John Cena's WWE World Hvt. Title.
After Batista was written out of WWE storylines via Randy Orton's head injury, Orton advanced to tonight's Raw main event fatal four-way elimination match with the winner facing Cena at the Royal Rumble PPV in January.
The other contenders are JBL (over Rey Mysterio), Shawn Michaels (over Kane), and Chris Jericho (over C.M. Punk), who all won matches on last week's Raw episode.
The match tonight will be emphasized as an elimination-style match, with the potential for the match to stretch at least 20-30 minutes and be heavy on the JBL-Shawn Michaels program with Michaels a storyline employee of JBL's corporation.
