WWE News: Traditional Survivor Series match with Shawn Michaels and JBL announced for PPV card Nov 11, 2008 - 1:31:41 AM
Following Raw from Manchester, U.K. last night, WWE announced on its website that a traditional Survivor Series style match has been signed for the PPV on November 23.
Shawn Michaels will head up one team also consisting of Cryme Tyme, Rey Mysterio, and Great Khali. JBL will head up the other team, and he'll have The Miz & John Morrison, MVP, and Kane on his team.
Caldwell's Analysis: Just when you thought the bizarre Kane vs. Rey Mysterio feud was officially over, per Stephanie McMahon, they bring you back in. The other built-in feud is The Miz & John Morrison vs. Cryme Tyme, which has been downplayed since the Cyber Sunday PPV. Miz & Morrison were major players on Raw last week when they lost to DX, but they were not included on this week's show. They will be part of the ECW broadcast tonight on Sci-Fi. Meanwhile, Great Khali's babyface push continues in the most peculiar of match-ups.
FYI: The only other match officially confirmed for Survivor Series is the Chris Jericho vs. John Cena match for the World Hvt. Title. More matches will be confirmed on ECW tonight and Smackdown this coming Friday night. A spoiler report indicating those matches to be added to the card is available under the WWE News section.
