Ratings News: Raw rating drops up against NCAA Men's Basketball Finals (w/Keller's Reax) Apr 8, 2008 - 4:16:19 PM
WWE Raw drew a 3.3 rating, a substantial drop due almost entirely from going up against a competitive NCAA Men's Basketball Finals.
The rating dropped 18 percent among men 18-49 and all people 18-49. Total average viewership was 4.7 million. As usual, it was just over two-thirds male with a median age of 36.
The first hour drew a 3.15 rating and the second hour drew a 3.48 rating.
WK ANALYSIS: No big deal. I think everyone was bracing for a ratings drop. Last year, though, the April ratings for Raw ranged from 4.3 the day after WrestleMania to a 3.6 at the end of the month, so this is considerably lower this year. In fact, other than a 3.2 on Memorial Day Weekend last year and some drops during the Benoit Family Tragedy fallout, Raw hasn't dropped to a 3.3 since September 2005.
