TORCH TRIVIA 2/14: Answer to ECW flavored Valentine's Day question on Lance Storm and Chris Jericho (w/VIDEO) Feb 15, 2009 - 3:01:48 AM
Original question: On the February 14, 1997 edition of ECW TV (airing in syndication, so it didn't air on Feb. 14 everywhere), Lance Storm jumped over to ECW from Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling promotion and defeated Balls Mahoney. While in SMW, he was part of a tag team with Chris Jericho. What was the name of that tag team?
(a) Thrill Seekers
(b) Team Canada
(c) Storm & Ice
(d) New Generation
The answer is (a) Thrill Seekers. Back when Jericho and Storm were looking for love in all the wrong places, the tandem met up at a Hart Family wrestling camp in Calgary in the late 1980s before Storm debuted in Stampede Wrestling. For an idea of a night on the town with the Thrill Seekers, check out the video below.
