I think, I'm paraphrasing here to a degree since it was a while ago and I don't remember the exact conversation, but it was something to the effect of, "Wow, isn't this ironic. We're on the phone talking about this," and he said something to me that made me feel it was okay in our first conversation. Something to the effect of, "Eric, it's interesting the way things turned out, but I would hope that if things would have turned out differently, and it was you calling me, that you would have given me the opportunity to come in and be a part of this business." ...

Bret Hart reportedly interested in returning to WWE TV; Hart would be contradicting himself
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is reportedly interested in returning to WWE TV as an on-air authority figure character. Hart returning to WWE TV as a regular character would contradict a definitive statement he made earlier this year. In February, Hart said he had no interest in ever working for WWE again as a regular character. He said he didn't want to be in a position to collect a paycheck from Vince McMahon again. Bryan Danielson interviewed on final ROH weekend and joining WWE
Ring of Honor wrestler Bryan Danielson says he's "sad" leaving the independent wrestling scene after this weekend's shows in Boston and New York to conclude his ROH career. At the same time, Danielson said he's optimistic about his chances to succeed in WWE.
-- WWE will be releasing the new DX-themed book on October 6 with a detailed look inside the formation and re-creations of the DX faction.
-- WWE will be releasing a Rey Mysterio book on November 3 titled "Behind the Mask." The book is being marketed as an "unveiling" of Rey Mysterio's personal thoughts on his long list of career injuries, his thoughts on Eddie Guerrero, and personal struggles during his WWE career. New ROH Video Wire
This week's Ring of Honor Video Wire is important for setting up the top matches for the final two shows on the Bryan Danielson Final Countdown Tour.

Line-up announced for PWG's next show
Former WWE wrestler Brian Kendrick headlines California-based Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's next show on October 2 in the Los Angeles area. Kendrick is booked against ROH wrestler Roderick Strong in one of the main events.
The main event of the show is listed as PWG tag team champions the Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson) vs. the Men of Low Moral Fiber (Kenny Omega & Chuck Taylor), who are fan favorites with PWG's audience. Read the full Torch Report
