TORCH TALK DAILY with Eric Bischoff (Question 2): What has Eric Bischoff been doing since he left WWE as an on-air character Sep 15, 2009 - 1:11:59 PM
Yesterday, PWTorch editor Wade Keller interviewed former WCW President Eric Bischoff an exclusive multi-hour "Torch Talk" interview covering a variety of controversial subjects from the Monday Night War period, his days on WWE TV, his 2006 autobiography, and the "Rise & Fall of WCW" DVD.
The following is the second of our daily Q&As to be published here at PWTorch.com, which is unprecedented with our VIP-exclusive "Torch Talk" series.

We present today second question and answer. Tune in tomorrow for the third question and answer.
Wade Keller: Are you closer at this point to being immersed in work like you were during your biggest times in wrestling, or are you also finding time for the recreational stuff you like to do in Montana and family time, travelling, hobbies.
Eric Bischoff: You know, it's different. Clearly, my schedule, my life isn't as intense when you're running a company with 150 employees and 300 million dollars a year in revenue and have to report to a publicly held corporation's board of executives. So my life is a lot less intense in some respects, but it's still pretty busy. I'm not one of those guys who made my fortune back in the heyday so I can sit back and just live off the interest. I've got a family to feed and a lifestyle to maintain and it's a competitive world out there. In some ways, while I would have expected to be kicking back just a little bit more than I am, I'm still busy, I'm still active. That's part of my nature, too. I'm not sure that I'll ever, ever retire necessarily. I love to work. I'm an entrepreneur. It's what gets me up in the morning. I'm still very busy. I'm out in Wyoming, which I've had my home out here with my wife and my family for 11 years now and this was the first year we decided now that the kids are kind of on their own, life has pretty much taken its course, that we were going to spend a little more time out here because we love it here so much. And we're enjoying ourselves.
Keller: Sounds good. I know in your book you wrote that Stephanie McMahon prefaced you being thrown into the dumpster as being nothing to worry about, you weren't being fired. Did you expect that would be the last time they would utilize you on TV? Were you okay at the time, are you okay now, with how that departure was handled?...
