-- WWE Raw Reax 5/20

Dave Harlequin of Charlotte, N.C. (7.0): Best: Shield vs. Hell No & Kingston. Worst: Jericho & Miz vs. Fandango & Barrett. This show would have been perfectly okay if it were simply one hour shorter. I know everyone keeps harping on it, but this show really is too long... I hope Ryback's "O'Doyle Rules" heel thing just runs its course and WWE gets over with, just like the new Tout, er I mean WWE App force-feeding... That Orton poll was just sad, as no one was remotely fooled as to what the outcome would be... I'm okay with Joe Hennig being the new Dangerous Alliance member, as I think he's a great talent, but why can't WWE just call him by his real name?... All that said, the wrestling was mostly good tonight, and if you took out the extra hour of App stuff, recaps, filler, and just had two solid hours of nothing but wrestling, we'd have a great show here. Oh well, at least we didn't have to put up with Super Cena. That's worth a full point in my book.

James of Dallas, Tex., VIP member (7.5): I have been a VIP member for two months now and I am happy that I decided to upgrade. Tonight, I think WWE put on a great show and spread it over the three hours well. The only reason I wouldn't give it a higher score would be due to how weak they made Curtis Axel look. First he gets slapped in the face and stays on the ground and then in the match instead of showcasing him and letting him get over, they put all the attention on Triple H. Why make a big deal of Paul Heyman selecting him as his new "guy" only to have him overshadowed?

-- WWE Extreme Rules Reax 5/19

Dave Harlequin of Charlotte, N.C. (6.0): Best: Lesnar-Triple H. Worst: Henry-Sheamus and Del Rio-Swagger. Not a bad PPV, but certainly not "extreme" either. While there were some very entertaining and solid matches on the card, a few of them were just way too "PG" for an environment that is presented as "Extreme." That was arguably the tamest strap match in wrestling history, and where exactly was the blood? I'm just saying, if you're not willing to actually go extreme/hardcore, then just call it something else... That said, I was very happy to see The Shield sweep the titles; hopefully they can return some credibility to those belts... My biggest gripe with WWE is how they have to present every heel as a coward who needs help to win every important match. Hopefully WWE will get back to having monster heels that are actually monsters.
