-- WWE Extreme Rules PPV Reax

Yin Chan Vo of Florida (8.5): Best Match: too tough to call. Worst Match: Henry vs. Sheamus. I thought this was one of the best modern-day PPVs I have seen in a while (I'm an old-school fan). The matches were all solid or great. No cheesy skits, wasted time, or Divas matches. And, the St. Louis fans were hot and announcing was on the mark. I think a lot of people are overly critical of this PPV and wrestling in general - I think rating it a 7.0 is underestimating it, as I thought it surpassed expectations and had a bunch of clean finishes (except Cena-Ryback, which kept both men's momentum going). Kudos to Jericho with a hot opener that kept me glued to the PPV.

Maxime, PWTorch reader (5.0): Best: Triple H-Lesnar, and that's not necessarily a good point. When the best match goes to two part-timers, someone has to realize that there's a problem with talent in WWE. Worst Match: Alberto-Swagger. There's so much non-sense in WWE now. Why did the referee need to check a small TV for the replay when he can look at a 300-inch Titantron? Also, why was Wade Barrett happy to comment about the United States Title match and not be upset that he was not competing on the show? How can a Last Man Standing match end in a No Contest? How can the announcers tell us that this PPV was maybe ''too extreme?" There wasn't even blood compared to last year. So much non-sense.
