-- 4/15 Question of the Day Reax: Who will be revealed as The Network in TNA storylines?

FoleyMickArt_120NO_6_18.jpg
Steve Huckleby, PWTorch reader: To me, the question should be "who is the individual advising The Network," because that is what Hogan and Bischoff think is happening. My guess on that one is Mick Foley.

Russ, PWTorch reader: I think/hope it will be Dixie Carter.

Jamie of Tacoma, Wash.: It seems pretty obvious to me that "The Network" will be revealed as Dixie Carter. She just disappeared without a trace after Hogan "won the court case" and hasn't been seen or heard from since. I think the only other possibility at this time would be if it turned out to be Paul Heyman, which would totally go along with TNA's history of nonsensical storylines and not answering the question "Why is a brilliant wrestling mind working for The Network?"

Justin Davis of Kennett, Mo.: I could see a representative type guy coming in, like a former wrestler. It makes perfect sense with Spike TV having a wrestling mind hired for a wrestling company issue. A couple of names come to mind like Larry Zbyszko. This would be a great way to re-introduce his character and he has bad blood with Bischoff from WCW and most of the TNA roster from when he was in charge. If not Larry, TNA could attempt one more time to get Paul Heyman. If TNA truly wants to keep up with WWE and make some headlines, then why not have someone from Spike TV's moneymaker, UFC? Randy Couture making appearances and punching someone out every now and then could bring TNA some UFC fans, which would be very helpful. To be honest, though, it wouldn't be that surprising if Dixie Carter is revealed.

Paul in Brisbane, Australia: I remember just before WrestleMania, Randy Savage's brother, Lanny Poffo, was quoted saying Macho Man is just about to announce something big. I wonder if Randy is the man behind The Network. It definitely would be Hogan & Bischoff's biggest nightmare, although with all the work he's recently been doing with WWE for the All-Stars video game and his new figurine, I maybe totally wrong.

Mike Rubba, PWTorch reader: The Network will be Palmer Cannon, duh.

Plan D of Montgomery, Ala.: The Network may as well be Palmer Cannon.

Stephen in Indiana: I think "The Network" will be revealed to be Cyrus the Virus himself of ECW fame. I mean, it really makes the most sense. Total Nostalgia Act has based their entire company around rehashing old ideas, repeating other companies's failed mistakes, and not learning from history. So, this would make perfect sense for them to pull a stunt like this. Of course, the only positive to this scenario is that TNA might actually have someone on-board that knows what they're doing when it comes to wrestling (Don Callis). So, this would be a double-edged sword if TNA were to actually rehash ECW's "Network" angle, but if Callis is the person they're bringing in, then they could do a lot worse, I suppose.
