-- 11/22 WWE Survivor Series PPV Reax

Joseph Martinez of Hayward Calif. (8.0): Best: Cena vs. Triple H vs. HBK. Worst: I didn't hate anything. I believe this was one of the best events in a long time. From first to last bell, I was into the event. I have been rather critical of WWE in the past few weeks, but this blew me away. I love how the young guys got the big wins during tonight's events, especially Kofi and the Miz. I kind of ignored the Rey vs. Batista match, so I could not hate it or make it my worst pick. I also did not mind the whole divas match, as it was an emotional come down from Kofi's performance and the World Title match. It also set me up for what I think is probably the best match we have seen in WWE in months in the main event. I will say that I was sad that Jericho did not win the World Title. That kind of brought it down for me. Then the superkick heard around the world was unleashed on Hunter's face. My brother and I were very excited for it, as we had been hoping for it for weeks. This match was fast-paced and may have even topped last week's three-way match between Styles, Daniels, and Joe. It was again a letdown that Cena won, but I could not be mad because Hunter did not win. Like the fans in Washington, D.C., we were cheering for Shawn. I have spent many years on the Bret Hart side of things and hated Shawn. But I have finally decided to let go of those feelings, because I have noticed that he goes out every time and tries to give a great match. He delivered tonight, along with Triple H and Cena. I just wished he would have been booked to win because I so wanted to see him and Cena go at it at TLC.

Benjamin Sheffield of Atlanta, Ga. (8.0): Best match: (tie) Cena vs. Hunter vs. HBK or Team Orton vs. Team Kofi. Worst Match: The Divas. This was a solid PPV, in my opinion, that furthered several storylines and elevated a couple guys (Kofi and Miz) to new heights. In my opinion, there were two outstanding matches on the card -- the two mentioned above -- and several other solid ones. I liked the interaction between Batista and Rey -- Dave was, in my opinion, never good as a face but is completely believable as a monster heel. I also liked the tension between both the Unified Tag Team Champions and DX in the two title matches. I'm hoping personally that Shawn Michaels surprises everyone and turns into a full-fledged heel before the Rumble, but will probably not be granted that wish. Either way, his superkick on Hunter tonight was the highlight of the show. The backstage segments were also good. Christian's "rap" got a lot of laughs at the restaurant where I watched the event, and as alluded previously, Miz is really starting to shine these days, both in the ring and on the mic. It was good to see WWE give some rub to McIntyre and Sheamus, as well, with the post-match interview. Seeing that I will be in attendance for the Rumble, I'm very curious to see how things are going to set up between now and then, but I look forward to watching some of the fallout on Raw. All in all, a good show.
