WWE Raw Reax #1: "Trips walking out made me a tad bit happier after watching this train wreck of a show"

-- 6/8 WWE Raw Reax

Amo from Iowa: The announcers blew this Raw. They treated the opening segment like it was just another day at the office. I turned the sound down and did my own color commentary. Please put J.R. back on Raw. I am going to hate myself in the morning for saying this, but put Tony Schiavone on Smackdown instead of Cole. Can the WWE lessen the value of the World Title any more than they have? Maybe TNA bookers took over Raw tonight? P.S.: Triple H is back way to soon.

Brian Jaffe of Iowa City, Iowa (3.0): Best Match: Colons vs. Priceless. Worst Match: Maryse vs. Kelly Kelly. It has honestly become worrying just how bad Raw has become. Batista got a nice reaction coming out, and the Legacy beat down was okay, but expected due to the announcement of Batista's injury. Not a single match was memorable enough for me to comment on it, which is a big problem for a wrestling show. The crowd was also completely dead, as no match had hype to it. I have been really digging Miz lately, but it's time to pull the trigger and have the actual match, one-on-one. I'm getting sick of Big Show interrupting. The Vickie/Edge segment was good, and the only real highlight of the show. Triple H returning just made me groan, realizing that we're about to get another chapter in an already way too long feud between these two. I honestly believe WWE needs to do something about Raw, because as the flagship show, it should not be this unwatchable.

Jake Calenda of Conroe, Tex. (4.5): Best: Vickie resigning, Triple H's return. Worst Match: Divas Championship. This was a jumbled mess of a show. The opening segment was fine to get Batista off of Raw due to his injury, but beyond that, this show lacked. It felt like the show had been on for four hours just when the first hour completed. A couple bright points however were Vickie quitting as Raw's GM (this makes the show a little more interesting, as Vickie was past due to leave her role) and Triple H's return. I thought I would never say this, but thank God for Triple H. I'm the same person who bashed Triple H taking up the spotlight heading into WrestleMania 25 and way before that, but this show needs some excitement. Seeing the ambulance in the back during the last segment and then seeing Trips walking out towards the entrance really made me a tad bit happier after watching this train wreck of a show. Also with "The Bash" just under three weeks away and with no mention of the PPV on the broadcast, that leaves WWE only two weeks on Raw to make even half-way decent matches for the PPV. Not to mention next week's show being the "3 For All," so it leaves me wondering if they'll be ANY good hype before the final week before the PPV. I have a feeling we'll be seeing Cena vs. Miz vs. Show, Colons vs. Rhodes/DiBiase, and Trips-Orton though from the red brand.
