In Brief: Daniels and Kazarian have plenty of affordable autographs for collectors to chase.

Card Show #26: 2013 TRISTAR TNA Impact Glory Dual Autograph Bad Influence

The Ring of Honor-New Japan joint iPPVs were a hit with fans of independent wrestling. The ending of the War of the Worlds iPPV last weekend really got them talking.

Christopher Daniels made his return to ROH TV, talking to another person off camera presumed to be Frankie Kazarian. Fans immediately began buzzing over the thought of Bad Influence in ROH and possible match-ups with teams like ReDRagon, the Briscoes, and Forever Hooligans, just to name a few.

Kazarian and Daniels have been featured on TNA trading cards from TRISTAR for years, and since 2012 have appeared together on cards as Bad Influence.

Daniels’s and Kazarian’s signatures have been paired together on cards in a few TRISTAR sets, such as 2012 TENacious and 2013 Impact Live. One especially cool card is a dual autograph from the 2013 TRISTAR TNA Impact Glory set. The card features a very simple sign of Daniels on the left and Kazarian on the right, with plenty of space for their signatures in the middle.

Daniels and Kazarian, like many other TNA wrestlers from the last six years, have had so many autograph cards produced by TRISTAR that supply probably exceeds demand. That’s actually good news for collectors, because a Bad Influence dual autograph is very affordable. The TNA Glory dual autograph, for example, can easily be found for under $10 for the basic version serial numbered to 99. Low-numbered parallels may sell for a little higher but are still quite affordable.

- Ringside Collectibles has unveiled images of the new figures in Mattel’s 29th series of Elite figures. This will probably be one of the hottest waves of Elite figures in quite some time, with the first Elite figures of Erick Rowan (with rocking chair and sheep mask) and Luke Harper (with removable jacket and lantern).

Also included in the set are new figures of Goldust (with two t-shirts and a wig), Andre the Giant (with removable singlet and afro), C.M. Punk (with hoodie), and Damien Sandow (with ladder and two Money in the Bank briefcases). Pictures are available HERE.

- The 28th series of Elite figures, featuring the first Elite figures of Bray Wyatt and Demolition Crush, have just started hitting retail stores, so look for Series 29 in late summer or early fall.

Other key toys coming soon from Mattel include a Defining Moments figure of Ric Flair, a “Brahma Bull” Rock figure exclusive to Ringside Collectibles, a new Basic figure of Edge (Basic Series 40), and a Summerslam series that features throwback toys of Punk, Rey Mysterio, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker.
