3 -- PRINCE PUMA (w/Konnan) vs. JOHNNY MUNDO vs. BIG RYCK -- Ladder Match for $100,000

Mundo and Puma attack Ryck early until Ryck escaped. Mundo and Puma began to fight each other. Mundo went to grab a ladder, but Ryck knocked him over. Puma stopped Ryck from entering the ring and grabbed the ladder himself. Puma climbed the ladder, but Mundo yanked him down. Puma stomped on Mundo and climbed the ladder again. Mundo climbed the other side and traded blows with Puma. Ryck tipped over the ladder and hit both men. He then set up the ladder. Cisco and Cortez came down to help set up the ladder. Cortez reached for the briefcase but Mundo and Puma tipped him over to the outside. Mundo launched Puma into the ladder. Mundo then ran up the ladder and hit a front flip to the outside on Big Ryck.

Mundo set up a few tables on the outside and grabbed a huge ladder. He beat down Cisco and set him on a table. Mundo climbed up the ladder. But Puma stopped him and knocked him off the ladder. Puma went for a front flip on Mundo but Mundo countered and Puma went to the outside. Back in the ring, Puma and Mundo fought over the ladder. Puma set up the ladder and climbed to the top. Mundo climbed the otherside. Puma then hit a neck breaker from the top of the ladder. Ryck took this moment to capitalize and beat down Mundo and Puma. Cortez and Cusco beat on Mundo and went for a superplex but Mundo fought back and threw Cortez through a table.

Ryck grabbed another ladder, but Mundo beat down Ryck. Puma took out Mundo. Cisco ran in and went for a superplex until Puma countered. Puma jumped on Cisco and drove him through the table. Mundo knocked over Puma with a ladder. He set it up, but Ryck pushed Mundo into the corner. Mundo regained control and hit The End of The World on Ryck followed by a 350 splash by Puma. Puma set Mundo onto a ladder between the ropes. Puma dove onto Ryck but he countered with a power bomb. Ryck gorilla pressed Puma and threw him on top of a ladder which snapped in half.

Ryck set up two ladders and climbed them both. Mundo recovered and climbed the pther side. Mundo knocked over Ryck. A masked intruder knocked over Mundo. He took off his mask and Mundo beat him down. Cisco and Cortez went to climb, but Mundo knocked them off and grabbed the briefcase.

WINNER: Johnny Mundo at 19:35.

After the match, Dario came out and congratulated Mundo and hoped that they could have a good relationship going forward. He requested Mundo give back the key. He told Johnny to put it around his neck. Johnny looked at the crowd and punched Dario in the face.

FINAL THOUGHTS: The main event was by far the best match we have seen from Lucha Underground. It was a great pay off to the Dario - Mundo storyline. I'm interested to see where things go next especially with the key. I hope that this episode earns a big jump in viewership and they can hold onto those viewers going forward.
