TNA co-founder Jeff Jarrett, now of Global Force Wrestling, returned to TNA television on Wednesday night.

Jarrett, sporting a GFW t-shirt, announced himself for the King of the Mountain match at TNA's Slammiversary PPV on Sunday.

Jarrett was joined in the ring by his wife, Karen Jarrett, for a promo centered on the Jarretts leaving TNA in the rear view mirror. However, Jeff received a phone call to come back for TNA's anniversary show.

After Jarrett returned to TV, a video was posted on the Global Force Wrestling YouTube channel documenting Jeff, Karen, and their kids returning to Universal Studios in Orlando.

Included was behind-the-scenes footage of Jarrett acting chummy with TNA president Dixie Carter.

Jarrett has said in recent interviews that he still has an ownership stake in TNA despite branching out to start his own promotion.

There was also a recent public spat between the two sides, as Karen directed a veiled shot at Dixie when Brodus Clay (Tyrus) was pulled from GFW's first live tour earlier this month.

On June 2, Karen tweeted: "Sounds like someone is throwing a temper tantrum in Nashville. Oh you can't control the world darlin!" This was followed by Brodus tweeting: "Due to contractual obligations I will not be working for GFWs up coming shows #CardSubjectToChange sorry for any inconvenience #NuffSaid."

Since GFW's inception, there have been question marks about how GFW will be affected by Jarrett's ownership interest in TNA, considering the promotions are at the same competitive level. Now, questions about the nature of the TNA/Jarrett relationship will become more prominent going forward after Jarrett returned to TNA TV and used the airtime to promote the GFW brand.
