-- The big angle of the show was whether A.J. Styles would join Aces & Eights. Styles initially drank with Bully Ray, accepted an A&E jacket, and took out his Slammiversary opponent, Kurt Angle. But, Styles smashed A&E members with a hammer, then ran out of the ring to signal that he "walks alone" as Impact went off the air.

-- Mickie James captured the Knockouts Title from Velvet Sky in the TV main event this week. Mickie slightly turned heel by chop-blocking Velvet's "injured knee" to set up her signature DDT finisher for the win.

-- There were a handful of returns on Thursday's Impact: Gunner returned with a full beard to be James Storm's tag partner at Slammiversary, Shark Boy returned in an attempt to be Storm's tag partner, and the Suicide character returned as an X Division Title contender.

-- Next week's TV main event will be Sting & Joseph Park vs. Team 3D (TNA World champion Bully Ray & TV champion Devon). This will set up Sting-Bully and Park-Devon at the Slammiversary PPV on June 2.

-- Jeff Hardy, who has been off TV for one month, was referenced during the broadcast as the star of a new "TNA Workout" App. The App is not free, though, as it's priced at $4.99.
