TNA News: Hulk Hogan hints at new wrestling reality TV show during Larry King Live appearance Oct 27, 2009 - 8:44:48 PM
Hulk Hogan said during an interview on Larry King Live that he would like to host a new reality show trying to find "the next Hulk Hogan."
"Like a talent search?" King asked, obviously not familiar with WWE Tough Enough. Hogan said he sees an American Idol for wrestlers trying to find the next Hulk Hogan.
Hogan was on King's show tonight for 33 minutes, but only the final five minutes were spent on the wrestling portion of his news-worthy day. The first 26 minutes were focused on his personal life to promote his new book out today.
During the final segment of Hogan's appearance that included the wrestling talk, clips were shown of Hogan in New York City announcing his involvement with TNA.
King referenced TNA by name one time during the segment and asked Hogan if he would be wrestling again. Hogan said he didn't know what he would be doing for the company, but he would be going to Australia to "test his sea legs" if he could wrestle again.
"I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do (in TNA)," Hogan said, "but I plan to take this business to a whole 'nother level."
