TNA News: Two titles change hands on Impact (w/VIDEO of title change in main event) Jul 30, 2009 - 11:23:43 PM
On tonight's episode of TNA Impact, Mick Foley captured the TNA Legends Title from Kevin Nash in a tag match and the British Invasion captured the IWGP tag titles from Team 3D in a tables match.
Foley was booked to use a distraction from Sting (in the crowd) and Bobby Lashley to score a pin on Nash to win the Legends Title in the main event.
The match started as Foley in a handicap match against TNA World Hvt. champion Kurt Angle & Kevin Nash after the Main Event Mafia took out Bobby Lashley before the match. Lashley then appeared in the ring after the lights went down to KO Nash and allow Foley to pin Nash for the title.
In the semi-main event of tonight's Impact, the British Invasion captured the IWGP tag titles from Team 3D in a tables match with help from Eric Young's "World Elite" group.
