TNA News: Ratings are in for Impact week after Mick Foley's debut, Jarrett's return, up against new episode of The Office (w/Keller Analysis) Sep 26, 2008 - 5:05:07 PM
TNA Impact last night dropped a bit to a 1.07 rating, slightly down from last week's 1.1 rating. The quarter hours didn't move much, starting at a 1.10, which was the peak for the show, but never dropping below 1.04 until Q8.
The biggest standout is that the Booker T vs. A.J. Styles main event drew a mere 1.01 rating, the lowest of the show.
Keller's Analysis: TNA can't be happy with this. Yes, they went up against new first run network programming, but this was the week after Jarrett returned and Foley debuted. Booker and Styles aren't exactly boosted by this quarter hour rating. It's tough for Booker to walk into the next show as if he's something special when he's producing lowest ratings of the show. If he's unhappy with how he's being pushed - and if he cares enough to be bothered - now is his time to take a stand.
