-- Ring of Honor announced today their next Internet PPV will be September 11 from New York City. The event, "Glory By Honor IX," will emanate from the Grand Ballroom at The Manhattan Center.

More details on the Internet PPV airing on GoFightLive will be announced at a later date. One of the attractions for the live audience in New York will be a meet-and-greet session with wrestling legend Terry Funk before the PPV.

-- ROH has announced the brackets for their Tag Wars 2010 tournament to determine which three teams will be next in line for an ROH Tag Title shot against the Kings of Wrestling.

The first set of tournament matches will take place at this weekend's ROH TV tapings in Philadelphia. The rest of the first round matches will be completed at the July 24 show in Chicago.

The semi-final tournament matches will take place on August 27 in Richmond, Va. A four-way elimination match will take place the next night on Aug. 28 in Charlotte with Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli defending against the winners of Block A, B, and C.

The following is a break down of the bracket for the summer tag tournament series:

Block A

-- Necro Butcher & Stevens vs. Redwood & Rasche Brown.
-- Briscoes vs. House of Truth.
-- Winners face each other Aug. 27.
-- Winning team advances to Aug. 28.

Block B

-- Cabana & Generico vs. American Wolves.
-- Delirious & Jerry Lynn vs. Titus & King.
-- Winners face each other Aug. 27.
-- Winning team advances to Aug. 28.

Block C

-- Daivari & Osiris vs. Dark City Fight Club.
-- Smash Brothers vs. Bravado Brothers.
-- Winners face each other Aug. 27.
-- Winning team advances to Aug. 28.

Caldwell's Analysis: To use a World Cup term, Block B is the "group of death" with four strong tag teams. Meanwhile, Dark City Fight Club has an easy path to the Aug. 28 final unless ROH has some other booking ideas. My prediction would be Briscoes out of Block A, Wolves out of Block B, and DCFC out of Block C to create a very strong four-way match in Charlotte next month.
