Former WWE star Dave Bautista will be appearing at the 2013 Comic Con in San Diego on Friday, July 19. Bautista will be part of a panel discussion on the upcoming "Riddick" movie starring Vin Diesel.

The following is an updated wrestling-related schedule for this year's Comic Con event.

Thursday, July 18

- WWE Event 1 (10:00 a.m.): "Toys 101: An Evolution of the Modern Action Figure." There will be a Q&A featuring "historians representing WWE" and other major comic-book brands. This is part of a partnership with Mattel, who is WWE's toy licensee.

- WWE Event 2 (1:00 p.m.): "Mattel and WWE: Bring on the Action!" The Miz will be hosting a segment of MizTV with Dolph Ziggler. The description reads: "The Miz hosts as Mattel toy designers Bill Miekina and Michael Kadile and manager of marketing Mitchell Cameron discuss the latest in WWE action figure news and give sneak peeks at upcoming product. You never know what surprises are in store!"

Also on Thursday, Miz and Ziggler will be part of an Autograph Session from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Mattel Booth #3029)

- RVD Appearance (8:00 to 9:00 p.m.): "Not So Strange Bedfellows: The Relationship Between Comics and Pro Wrestling." Rob Van Dam will be part of a panel that also includes retired SoCal pro wrestler Scott Lost. The full description reads:

"Some have called the spectacle of pro wrestling a “comic book come to life.” That is not so far from the truth. From the heroics of Hulk Hogan, antiheroes such as John Cena, and villains like Ric Flair, come and explore the parallels that exist in character development and storyline advancement between these outrageous forms of narrative presented by architects from both worlds. Featuring Rik Offenberger (First Comic News.com), Francis Szyskowski (The Massacre Twins), Todd Tochioka (Working Snug.com), Scott Lost (Scott Lost-Art), and international wrestling superstar Rob Van Dam (WWE Monday Night Raw). Moderated by Joshua Waldrop (M1W Entertainment)." (Room 9)

Friday, July 19

- WWE Event (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.): Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley, and Daniel Bryan will be part of an autograph session. (Mattel Booth #3029)

- Bautista appearance (12:15 to 1:15 p.m.): "Kick-Ass 2 and Riddick." Universal Pictures presents a panel that includes Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Katee Sackhoff. (Hall H)

Saturday, July 20

- WWE Event (11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.): Sheamus and Ryback will be part of an autograph session. (Mattel Booth #3029)
