- NEW (May 10, 2013): TMZ reports that Hulk Hogan is attempting to scrub every video copy of Hogan engaged in sexual acts with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of radio host Bubba the Love Sponge.

This includes Hogan going after website TheDirty.com, which TMZ reports received an "aggressive letter" from Hogan's attorneys this week vowing to "take drastic legal action" against the website to ensure compliance with Hogan's request.

Hogan's run-in with TheDirty.com dates back to April 2012 when Hogan's attorneys threatened to sue the website after they published photos from Hogan's sex tape, which was allegedly made several years ago.

- (April 25, 2013): Hogan received a favorable ruling from a Florida state judge in Hogan's $100 million lawsuit against Gawker.com.

Judge Pamela Campbell ruled that Gawker must immediately remove the footage from their website and from all affiliated websites. This was the result of Judge Campbell granting Hogan's temporary restraining order as part of the lawsuit. The $100 million suit, which also includes Heather Clem, is still ongoing.

- (January 2013): Hogan dropped his original lawsuit against Gawker, then refiled a restructured suit that included Heather Clem as a defendant.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Hogan's camp dropped the federal lawsuit and re-filed in more favorable Florida state court. However, Gawker's representatives successfully returned the lawsuit back to federal court.

- (November 2012): A federal judge denied Hulk Hogan's request to have Gawker immediately remove footage of Hogan engaging in a sex act with Heather Clem. Gawker's defense was the footage is newsworthy because of Hogan's celebrity status. U.S. District Judge James D. Whittemore agreed.

Judge Whittemore wrote: "Plaintiff's (Hogan's) public persona, including the publicity he and his family derived from a television reality show detailing their personal life, his own book describing an affair he had during his marriage, prior reports by other parties of the existence and content of the Video, and Plaintiff's own public discussion of issues relating to his marriage, sex life, and the Video all demonstrate that the Video is a subject of general interest and concern to the community."
