The other side of the story on former WWE tag team wrestler B. Brian Blair's arrest on Sunday is that Blair was apparently provoked by his 17 year-old son and he was trying to defend his wife from a physical attack.
According to Mike Graham, the son of legendary wrestler/promoter Eddie Graham, Blair's son was out of control with verbal attacks on his mother, leading to a blow-up at 4:00 a.m. on Sunday morning that led to Blair being arrested and jailed until Monday.
Blair was filmed coming out of a Florida jail on Monday simply saying he's glad his wife is okay. Graham told the local FOX affiliate in Tampa, Fla. that it was a matter of time something happened.
"He runs away from home, he doesn't go to school," Graham said. "And every time his father says you can't do this, you can't do that, Brett says, 'what are you going to do, Dad? If you touch me, I'll have you arrested.'"
Child protection services are currently investigating the situation after Blair was released from jail on Monday afternoon. He is reportedly not allowed to have contact with his son.
