WWE Raw TV taping report
November 21, 2011
Hershey, Pa.
Report by Eric J. Calcara, PWTorch reader

Note: The report contains editorial notes and observations from Eric on the live event experience.

Post-Raw Notes

After Raw went off the air, there was a six-man tag match featuring John Cena, Randy Orton, and Big Show vs. Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and The Miz (who came back out in his street clothes after the show-closing angle).

Dark Match: John Cena & Randy Orton & Big Show beat U.S. champion Dolph Ziggler & The Miz & Jack Swagger in a six-man tag match. The Miz started the match, but soon left his tag partners Ziggler and Swagger behind. The match ended with Jack Swagger receiving finishers from all three men on the opposing team.

Cena, Orton, and Show spent a lot of time afterwards walking around the ring and interacting with the fans and soldiers in attendance. Lots of signs were autographed and photos were taken. John Cena was hugging a lot of kids! And I was booing them all.

Big Show came over to me, as I was in the process of “harassing” him with my words. He took my hand, and asked me to repeat what I had said. I told him that Mark Henry was better than him. I actually thought that he might crush my hand, since he was still grabbing it. Instead, he laughed and replied: “I made my money. I don’t give a s---.” This got everyone around me laughing.

Live Raw Notes

-- Once again, I found myself in Hershey, Pa. for Raw (a yearly tradition in November). And, once again, I was sitting next to the entrance ramp (2nd Row, 1st Seat) on the wrestlers’s left sides when they entered the arena. This would be the right side on television. I was wearing a white C.M. Punk shirt. As usual, I was booing all the faces (except C.M. Punk) and cheering all the heels.

-- It was a great crowd. Punk got a huge ovation during his speech and endless "C-M Punk" chants during his match.

-- I was booing Zack Ryder when he gave the kid next to me his purple bandanna. I am not sure if this appeared on TV.

-- Sheamus was madly over. He slaps hands with everyone; even if you don’t extend your hand to him, he will tap you on the wrist as he walks by.

-- Booker T spent over 20 minutes wiping himself dry repeatedly after Cody Rhodes threw the water at him. Cody was getting quite a few pops from the crowd.

-- Kofi Kingston is one of the few faces who I respect. I still liked when Wade Barrett won, though. Barrett, much like Alberto Del Rio, didn't care about having support as a heel and didn't acknowledge his supporters.

-- John Cena was getting booed like crazy at the arena. There were also a lot of “Cena Sucks” signs.
