Editor's Note: It's been a busy summer, but I'm going to try to get back to updating Ask the Torch more frequently from now on, so keep the questions coming and thanks for your patience!

PWTorch.com reader Shane M. of Vancouver asks: With Sean Waltman no-showing the TNA PPV this past week and Kevin Nash trying to get a hold of Vince McMahon, could we see the return of Degeneration X or another version of it on October 3? Triple H, Waltman, and Nash. Is it a possibility?

WK: The circumstances of Sean Waltman's no-show of the TNA isn't known at this point, although he was apparently spotted at the hotel in Orlando before the PPV. Whether he had a falling out with management or disappeared for other reasons isn't confirmed either way at this point, although nobody in TNA is saying they had warning he wasn't showing up. The attitude from TNA management was that he blew it and will need to produce an incredible excuse to be given another chance to work there. That said, if he has a better offer from WWE on the table, he may end up showing up on WWE TV soon. It still wouldn't excuse his walk-out on TNA, though. Nash isn't negotiating with WWE and his schedule of small movie roles here and there would prohibit a traditional WWE agreement encompassing a full-time run. So at this point, a DX type reunion is possible, but I'd say less than a 15 percent chance. Kevin Nash and his nine year old son were backstage at the TNA PPV and Nash has committed to be on the October TNA PPV and the Oct. 1 debut TV show on Spike.

PWTorch.com reader Aherb asks: I was wondering if you have a way of getting more information on the WrestleMania DVD box set coming out. My main concern is if it will be butchered like the grey video set was or will it be complete like the black box set was. I have been looking over the net and couldn't find any new information except the release date and picture at IGN. Please help.

WK: I don't have a lot more info on it, but I can say that whatever was edited or digitized on previous releases will also be the case in this set. WWE isn't going to pay big money for rights to music they deem insignificant to their sales of the product, and legally they have to digitize or black out any of the WWF scratch logos. As for whether the shows will be shown in their entirety, I believe as a definitive set it won't be abbreviated versions. We'll publish the details as soon as we hear more, plus have full reviews on the website when it's released.

PWTorch.com reader Corey Kowalewski of Mansfield, Texas asks: With USA only giving WWE a Saturday morning slot for weekend wrestling, much has been discussed as to the fate of Velocity, Heat, and the wrestlers associated with them. Has WWE given any thought to continuing the shows as a webcast, similar to the way TNA is currently playing Impact? I watched their four Smackdown segments that were preempted this weekend and really enjoyed watching them in the order I wanted, and they seemed well done. I wondered if WWE had considered making a more permanent arrangement to continue the increased interactivity of their website with their product.

WK: It's not a bad idea, but it would be costly. Although they haven't released any information indicating this is the case, I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't still tape a few extra matches at each event in part to provide first-run programming for their international versions of those shows, and then offer them in the U.S. either on the web or as part of the 24/7 programming package. WWE is aggressive in being on the cutting edge of new technology, and featuring a cruiserweight title match each week on the webcast or on the 24/7 channel might be a good way to test the interest in that type of wrestling and keep those wrestlers visible in the U.S.

Shaun Corbett of Louisville, Ky.: I have a question regarding the Dudleys' use of their name. Since you're a lawyer I thought you might know the answer. IF the Dudleys used the Dudley name in WWE while ECW was still on the air, wouldn't the only way they could have used that name is if they Dudleys owned their own name? I would think that ECW couldn't still lay claim to the name if WWF/E was using the name.

WK: First of all, I'm not a lawyer. I have an undergraduate degree in law, but I did not go to post-graduate law school. Paul Heyman never trademarked the Dudleys name in ECW, so when they went to WWE, WWE trademarked the name. Since WWE purchased ECW and all intellectual rights associated with it, the fact that the Dudleys used that team name before signing with WWE doesn't give them any legal right to use it after leaving WWE. The former Dudleys were backstage at the TNA PPV last night, by the way.
