WWE Live show results
June 6, 2015
Salt Lake City, Utah
Report by PWTorch reader Brandon Berrett

It was the first time in about 20 years that WWE held a show at the Delta Center/Energy Solutions Arena. Despite the fact that WWE billed it as their first-ever visit.

I would say there were roughly 5-6 thousand fans in attendance in a building that holds close to 20,000. The entire upper bowl was curtained off.

First out was Neville to a good reaction from the fans.

(1) Neville beat Heath Slater. The match ended in a schoolboy roll-up on a distracted Slater, who was yelling at the fans with a mic. Slater attacked Neville after the bell, but Neville fought back and eventually hit the corkscrew Shooting Star Press to pop the crowd.

Stardust was out next with a box full of free stuff plugging the Network. He asked who wanted the free stuff. He then told the fans they could it have it, calling Salt Lake a "wretched hive of villainy." This brought out R-Truth, who hit the ring and cleared out Stardust. He then threw out all the t-shirts before getting attacked from behind by Stardust.

(2) R-Truth beat Stardust after hitting Little Jimmy for the pin.

(3) Lucha Dragons (Kalisto & Sin Cara) beat Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) and Erick Rowan & Luke Harper in a three-team elimination tag match. Good action in this match between the Dragons and Los Matadores.

(4) Dean Ambrose beat Kane. Ambrose carried the WWE World Hvt. Title with him, continuing the title belt theft angle. This match was about what you would expect from Kane. Ambrose's high-energy style in the ring added a lot to make it worthwhile.

Summer Rae was out next to cut a promo on the fans. She went on to say she would do what the Utah Jazz can't do, and that's win. Emma came out start the match.

(5) Emma beat Summer Rae. Short match. After the loss, Summer got back on the mic upset over the loss. She challenged anyone else in the back to come out and face her. This brought out Alicia Fox.

(6) Alicia Fox pinned Summer Rae in short order. Fox headed to the back, then Summer got on the mic again. But, she began to cry and ran to the back.

(7) Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler. Really good match between these two, lots of good back and forth action. Sheamus was actually getting a good babyface reaction from the crowd. At one point in the match he looked out at the crowd and then pointed to his rear end trying to draw some heat. Sheamus scored the pin after hitting the Brogue Kick.

(8) Roman Reigns beat Big Show in a Salt Lake City Street Fight. Kind of a slow-paced match; Show and Reigns don't seem to have chemistry in the ring. The crowd was really into the match, though. There were a couple of table spots with Big Show going through the table both times. Reigns scored the pin after hitting the spear.

Overall, a good show with a lot of good wrestling action.

Most Cheers:

(1) Roman Reigns
(2) Dean Ambrose
(3) Dolph Ziggler

Most Boos:

(1) Big Show
(2) Kane
(3) Stardust
