Attendance was more than I would have expected. Somewhere around 6,000-6,500, I would guess. The upper bowl was half tarped off, but not a lot of people were there. The floor and most of the lower bowl was full.

The show opened with a video of an out-of-character Triple H welcoming us to the show. The crowd booed when Triple H showed up on the screen.

(1) Erick Rowan beat Fandango (w/Rosa Mendes). Good reaction to Rowan. Fandango also had pretty good heat. Rowan won with a full nelson slam.

(2) NXT tag team Lucha Dragons (Sin Cara & Kalisto) beat Tyler Breeze & Bo Dallas. A good portion of the crowd seemed to recognize Breeze and the Dragons. A good "NXT" chant started the match and a light "Breeze is Gorgeous" chant started during the match, further establishing that a good number of the crowd have the Network. Dragons won when Kalisto hit Salida del Sol and Sin Cara hit a Swanton.

Kane showed up on the video screen saying that he and Daniel Bryan will have a street fight and he will take Bryan out, because that's best for business.

(3) R-Truth (w/Burlap Bag) beat Luke Harper. The crowd was pretty into doing the "What's Up" bit with Truth. Fair amount of comedy. Truth danced and Harper took time to flex and pose. Who knew bicep poses were popular in the backwoods community? During the match, Bad News Barrett ran down and took the Intercontinental Championship belt back and ran to the back. Harper missed a clothesline and Truth hit the What's Up for the pin.

They aired the Hall of Fame video on Connor Michalek.

(4) Emma & Natalya beat Summer Rae & NXT Women's champion Sasha Banks. This was billed as a "Fan's Choice" match where fans could choose between a one-on-one or tag match, despite at no point during or before the show did they give fans an option to vote. Even still, the tag match won a landslide vote with 95 percent. Good pop for Sasha Banks. Bigger pop for Nattie, who put Summer Rae in the Sharpshooter for the tap-out win over the former BFFs.

(5) Roman Reigns beat Big Show. This was pre-intermission, leaving Daniel Bryan as the main event in his home market. Loud, mixed reaction to Reigns. Probably 70/30 cheers/boos. Either way, people reacted to him, no ambivalence here. During the match, though, fans seemed more into booing Show than cheering Reigns. Show missed a Vader Bomb and Reigns hit the spear for the win. Not a good match. If you've listened to Wade Keller's hotlines lately, you can probably guess what Reigns's moveset looked like.

After intermission, they aired an Ascension promo where they said they'll face The New Day.

(6) New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods w/Big E.) beat The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor). Konnor cut/kut a promo on Seattle about it being a hole in the wall and said, "This ain't no Boston." As a lifelong Seattle native, I have no idea why we're being negatively compared to Boston. Big E. made a bunch of local sports references (including the Sounders MLS team, who were playing concurrently down the road) and totally popped the crowd. New Day hit a backbreaker/double stomp combo for the pin. Against all odds, fans seemed to be un-ironically into cheering for New Day.

(7) Dean Ambrose beat IC champion Bad News Barrett via DQ; Barrett retained the IC Title. Bad News said he would knock out Ambrose and prove he's the greatest Intercontinental champion of all-time. Good reaction to Ambrose and good match. Ambrose won when Barrett came into the ring with the IC belt and hit Ambrose. Barrett went to hit him again, but Ambrose avoided and hit Dirty Deeds. Luke Harper came out and jumped Ambrose and took the IC belt. Truth then jumped Harper and took the belt just so all things can be even for TV on Monday.

Main Event time. Kane was out first, and fans chanted "Yes!" once Kane's music ended. Bryan came out to a super reaction. Fans were feverishly chanting "Yes/Daniel Bryan" for a solid five minutes at the beginning of the match. Kane bailed to the floor to let Bryan soak in the cheers during this.

(8) Daniel Bryan beat Kane in a Street Fight. There were kendo sticks, tables, and chairs used in this match. At one point the legs of a table broke, so Bryan ripped the legs off the table and hit Kane with them. Bryan won when he hit the Busaiku Knee into a chair on Kane's face for the pin. Best match of the night.

Afterward, Bryan cut an impassioned promo about the 2013 Slammys night where the Seattle crowd hi-jacked the show and changed his career. He said the next time they come to Seattle his gear will be Seahawks green and blue.

Overall, a fun show. One of the better house shows I've been to in a while.
