ROH/PCW show results
November 29, 2014
Preston, England
Report by Michael Delaney, PWTorch correspondent

The evening show from the ROH vs. Preston City Wrestling series drew another sold-out show and very lively crowd.

(1) Cedric Alexander beat Noam Dar, Martin Kirby, A.C.H., ROH tag champion Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong in a six-way match. A lot of support for the imports, especially Strong and A.C.H. Solid opening match where everyone got a chance to shine

(2) Michael Elgin beat B.J. Whitmer. Physical contest where Elgin got time to have a lot of crowd interaction.

(3) Tommaso Ciampa beat El Ligero. The crowd was split on this match. El Ligero is one of the best guys on the regular roster, but Ciampa impressed everyone earlier in the year when he came over to defend the TV Title.

Matt Hardy was announced for a future weekend tour.

(4) Mad Man Manson & Dave Rayne beat Paul London & Delirious. Comedy match, including a slow-motion section. Post-match Mad Man, a crowd favourite in. Preston, announced his retirement

(5) Joey Hayes beat Lance Storm. Great technical contest. Storm looked in fantastic shape and got a standing ovation post-match.

(6) Team Single beat The Briscoes to retain the PCW Tag Titles. Two very physically imposing teams who have hard-hitting styles. Impressive tag work from both sides.

(7) Bubblegum beat Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole in a three-way match to retain the PCW Cruiserweight Title.

Before the main event, PCW GM Lionheart hit the ring to announce that he is stepping down as GM. Lionheart said it was due to recovery from the injury he suffered from the Styles Clash earlier in the year, and the position causing him to be put into situations where he was getting physical and taking bumps again slowing down recovery. Before he left, Joey Hayes hit the ring to try to talk Lionheart into giving him a title shot. Lionheart put Joey into the Road to Glory tournament next year. And the second entrant...Lionheart. The place erupted as Lionheart hit a uranage. He looks to be in amazing shape considering the severity of injury a short time ago.

(8) Uhaa Nation beat Chris Masters and Dave Mastiff in an elimination match to win the PCW Title. Since becoming champion, Masters had turned heel and had issues with both Uhaa and Mastiff. The face duo teamed up on Masters until he left with an apparent knee injury. After Uhaa and Mastiff wore each other down, Masters returned to try to claim victory, but was the first eliminated. A series of nearfalls and false finishes from both remaining contenders followed before the Uhaa Combination delivered the win.

Afterward, Masters challenged Uhaa to a one-on-one re-match at the "Road to Glory" weekend in March 2015, and the loser is not allowed back to PCW.

Also, "Supershow of Honor 2" is already being teased for next year.
