WWE Live show results
November 11, 2014
Brighton, U.K. at the Brighton Centre
Report by Adam Vincent, PWTorch reader

The show went two-and-a-half hours with a 15-minute intermission. The show was sold out - the Brighton Centre is quite a small venue with capacity about 3,000.

The ring announcer and host was Lillian Garcia. She opened the show by singing our National Anthem. Notably, Paige's family were in the front row at ringside.

The show opened with the Vince McMahon apology video for the Network delay, which was met with boos and chants of "Where's our Network?"

(1) Sheamus beat The Miz (w/Damien Mizdow). Sheamus won with the Brogue Kick. Lots of comedy spots with Mizdow copying Miz. Particularly funny was Mizdow's reaction when Sheamus gave Miz a wedgie and dropped him on the guardrail.

(2) Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) beat Curtis Axel. There was pretty much no crowd reaction for Axel. Swagger won with the Patriot Lock, then Zeb led the crowd in a "We The People" chant.

(3) Los Matadors & El Torito beat Slater Gator & Lil Gator in a six-man tag match. This was the fans's choice match of either six-man tag or six-way dance-off. Thankfully the tag match won. A lot of comedy in the match. Los Matadors and El Torito got the win when El Torito pinned Lil Gator.

(4) Big Show beat U.S. champion Rusev (w/Lana) via DQ; Rusev retained the U.S. Championship. Show won via DQ when Rusev used a steel chair. After the DQ, Rusev put Big Show in The Accolade.

When Rusev left the ring, Mark Henry came to the ring and beat up on Big Show. Eventually Big Show got the upper hand and hit Henry with the KO Punch. There were a lot of "Sexual Chocolate" chants for Henry.

Before intermission, Lillian brought a local kid in the ring to help her show us what merchandise was available to buy.

(5) Divas champion A.J. Lee & Brie Bella beat Paige & Nikki Bella. Nikki Bella got on the mic to tell Brie that she wouldn't be wrestling tonight because as her personal assistant, she has to do as she says and that this would now be a handicap match. Paige started the match, but after about 30 seconds Nikki tagged herself in and that's all we saw of Paige in the ring, which the crowd were very disappointed about. A.J. got the win on Nikki after a distraction by Brie on the outside.

(6) Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods (w/Big E.) beat Luke Harper & Eric Rowan. Lots of high-flying from Kingston and Woods leading to the win. Harper and Rowan got the second biggest pop of the night.

(7) John Cena beat Seth Rollins in the main event Street Fight. Biggest pop of the night for Cena; massive "Let's Go Cena" and "Cena Sucks" chants, which he played up to nicely. Lots of "You Sold Out" chants for Rollins. Chairs, tables, and the ring steps were used during the match. Cena got the win after an AA off the top rope put Seth Rollins through a table.

Overall, a very enjoyable show. A clean sweep for all the faces. After the show, Lillian thanked us for coming, and no return date was announced.

- Biggest Pop: John Cena.

- Most Heat: Rusev and Lana.
