WWE Live show results
November 6, 2014
Dublin, Ireland
Report by Eileen Lynch, PWTorch reader

I attended the November 6 show in the 3 Arena in Dublin. The show was mostly sold out, though it didn't seem as full as the show in May.

There was a brief video of Vince McMahon apologising for the delay in the WWE Network launch over here, but you couldn't hear what he said as the crowd erupted in boos as soon as he mentioned it. Eden was the announcer for the night.

(1) NXT champion Adrian Neville beat Sami Zayn. The crowd was completely behind Zayn from the moment he came out. They treated Neville as a heel and booed him whenever he gained control of the match. This didn't stop them applauding the big spots from both men, though. It was an excellent match. Fast paced with many good spots that earned a "This is Awesome" chant from the crowd. Neville eventually picked up the win with a Red Arrow and then he and Zayn shook hands before leaving.

(2) Adam Rose beat Justin Gabriel. The crowd enjoyed seeing Rose and his Exotic Express, especially the younger crowd. The match itself was enjoyable. Rose did a few comedy moves for laughs, but also broke out some Leo Kruger-like force. His spinebuster looks brutal. Gabriel played the heel well. He teased throwing out his shirt to the audience, only to drop it on the floor. When Rose looked to be in trouble, The Bunny came to his aid, earning his own chant. The distraction was enough for Rose to hit the Party Foul for the win, at which point he and the Exotic Express celebrated at ringside.

At this point Eden gave the crowd a choice between a singles Divas match or a six-woman tag. The crowd wanted the tag match so it became Summer Rae, Layla, and Cameron vs. Emma, Naomi, and Natalya. During the entrances, Cameron got the most negative reaction, while Nattie got the biggest pop.

(3) Natalya & Emma & Naomi beat Summer Rae & Layla & Cameron in a six-Divas tag match. The match was short, but enjoyable. Summer did a good job getting heat from the crowd and there were no noticeable botches. Naomi performed very well, though the crowd still favoured Natalya. It ended with Nattie making Summer tap out to the Sharpshooter. She then went to ringside to meet a little girl who made her a poster.

(4) IC champion Dolph Ziggler beat Cesaro to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Ziggler's entrance got one of the biggest pops of the night. The match itself was fantastic with both men giving it their all. Cesaro used great brute force and Ziggler sold every move like a champ. The match had great back and forth action and some impressive counters. Ziggler picked up the win, leaving the crowd happy going into the intermission.

The first match after the intermission was Fandango vs. R-Truth. The crowd really enjoyed both entrances and sang along with both.

(5) R-Truth beat Fandango. The match was very short, mostly made up of them taunting each other by dancing, or R-Truth getting the crowd to sing at Fandango, prompting him to get on the mic and tell the crowd to shut up. The end was a quick roll-up while Fandango was dancing. Truth celebrated by meeting some of the younger fans at ringside.

Once R-Truth left, Fandango got on the mic and demanded he get another match. Ryback's music hit to a huge pop. He made his way to the ring to "Feed me more" chants.

(6) Ryback squashed Fandango. Ryback made quick work of dispatching Fandango and received another big pop from the crowd.

(7) WWE tag champs Rhodes Bros. (Goldust & "Stardust" Cody Rhodes) beat The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) to retain the Tag Titles. The Usos got a good pop, particularly from the younger crowd. The match was good. Both Goldust and Stardust play the weird role to perfection, which really helped with getting crowd reactions. There were plenty of tags and fun moments including some dives from the ring to the floor from both Stardust and one of the Usos. It was while there was action outside the ring that Stardust managed to pick up the win for his team and retain the titles.

The main event was a handicap match pitting John Cena against the team of Bray Wyatt and Kane. Cena received the biggest pop of the night from the crowd, which was hardly surprising considering the sea of yellow Cena t-shirts on display. The team of Kane and Wyatt seemed odd when first heard, but were actually very entertaining. Kane's stoic nature and Wyatt's bizarre behaviour played together well and both seemed to thoroughly enjoy seeing the other inflict pain on Cena.

(8) John Cena beat Bray Wyatt & Kane in a two-on-one handicap match. The crowd seemed to really enjoy the match. Cena took plenty of beatings in the early stages of the match with Kane and Wyatt making regular tags. The tables turned somewhat when Wyatt charged at Cena, who dodged at the last second, causing Wyatt to clock Kane instead. This meant that, for a short period, it was just Cena and Wyatt. There were some fun spots from Wyatt, including his spider-walk and waltzing with a barely conscious Cena. Cena went for the AA, but Wyatt grabbed the ropes causing a struggle which resulted in the ref being knocked out. By then, Kane had recovered and entered the ring. He grabbed Wyatt by the neck for a chokeslam. However, Cena was getting to his feet at the same moment so Kane tossed Wyatt aside and gave Cena the chokeslam instead. He left the ring so Bray could make the pin, but it was only a two count. Wyatt and Kane were frustrated so both began stomping on Cena mercilessly. Ziggler came out to another pop to make the save. They took out both Wyatt and Kane and Cena hit an AA in time for the ref to recover and get the three count. The show ended with Cena and Ziggler celebrating in the ring.

Overall, it was a good show. The matches were enjoyable, with lots of good spots and the crowd seemed invested in them. The biggest pops of the night would belong to Cena, Ziggler, and Ryback while Neville, Cameron, and Kane seemed to get the most heat.
