Undertaker Public Appearance Report
October 2/3, 2014
Austin, Tex.
Report by Todd Fulkerson, PWTorch correspondent

I had an awesome trip to Austin, where I attended Wizard World. I have not been on a plane since 1995-1996, but when I found out The Undertaker would be taking John Cena's place at Wizard World due to other commitments I was in.

Friday, October 3 - The Undertaker

I got to the Convention Center around 1:00 p.m., entered at 1:30 p.m., and the place was completely dead. I was early. After going through some other VIP lines with non-wrestling guests, it was finally time to meet The Undertaker. I first asked him if he could pretend to chokeslam me. He looked at the assistant and she said no choking allowed. The Undertaker then said, "There is enough choking going on in the NFL right now anyways." I asked if he would roll his eyes back and he said he forgot how to do that. I laughed and asked him for a normal shot, a shot with me holding the urn, and asked him to put his thumb up to his throat. We took the pics, I thanked him, and left to pick up my photos that were already printed.

I proceeded to The Undertaker autograph line. I pulled out one of the Undertaker photos that I just took and my WWE Undertaker Urn and he signed both. Man, the autographs were so awesome. He took the time to sign them nice, and asked where you wanted them signed.

Thursday, October 2 - Paige

Once at the convention center I noticed there were about 60 people in the line and it was very quiet. After going through the process of upgrading my VIP ticket to include Paige and Taker, the show opened and everyone ran inside. Eventually, we were allowed to line up for Paige. There were maybe 15 people at first. Then, when the photo-op began, there were maybe a 80-100 people waiting in line. As I entered the room, Paige was dancing around. I said hello to her, stepped on the mark, she stood to the side of me, we both looked at the camera, the photographer counted off, and Paige hugged me laughing for the picture. On a side note, one of Paige's fans gave her an odd furry hat to wear, which she kept on for several photo-ops. One guy complained about it and re-took his photo.

Next, Paige signed autographs. I had her sign my photo and when she looked at it she said, "Hey, we look like best buds, what's your name?" I told her Todd, so she said she was going to call me Toddy. Next was the Q&A panel, which was fun and went by fast. The Q&A is below on YouTube

The main reason for going to this event was to meet The Undertaker. Everything else was a bonus meeting various non-wrestling celebrities at the convention and at the airport. I had a great time.
