Report by Chuck Davy, PWTorch reader

EPWA held its fifth anniversary show on Sunday night featuring Kurt Angle as a special ringside enforcer for the main event. There was a 'meet and greet' before the show, too, and I was able to get an autograph and picture with Angle. He had a knee brace on because of his recent knee surgery, but was a real pro, and performed to the best of his ability. They said that Angle doesn't usually do independent shows, so this was quite an honor to see him so up close and personal.

(1) "High Tide" Bodie Williams beat Vince Vega.

(2) Sonjay Dutt & Sean Hudson beat Travis Tarvin & Tony Costello & ManThing in a handicap match.

(3) EPWA tag champion Eddie Page won a Battle Royal match.

(4) Shane Douglas beat Shorty Smalls in a Last Man Standing match. These two have had a series of matches this year, and this was their third match in the series.

[Intermission following a Kurt Angle appearance to set up the main event.]

(5) Jason Radatz beat EPWA Cruiserweight champion Shane Malace and Brandon Scott to capture the EPWA CW Title. Radatz is also an EPWA tag champion.

(6) Rhino & Wildman Robbie Page beat The Highwaymen (EPWA champion Jake "the Machine" Davis & Leslie Leatherman with Kurt Angle as ringside enforcer.

The crowd went home happy, and another great EPWA show came to an end. The EPWA tag line is: "You won't believe what happens next." I have been going to these shows for a little over a year now, and they just continue to amaze.
