Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) show results

Before the show, Rey Mysterio was scheduled for a meet-and-greet autograph signing, but FCW was very late starting the line. 20 minutes before the scheduled bell time, only a handful of people had been inside to meet Rey. FCW officials then announced that if people in line did not want an autograph, they could find their seats in the arena. Otherwise, they could continue to wait in line for the autograph.

(1) Percy Watson beat Husky Harris with a body splash. I couldn't get into it, as I can't take seriously a guy who wears plastic glasses, tasseled boots, and dances the whole match.

(2) Titus O'Neil b. Jacob Novak. Half of the match was spent in a rest hold. Nothing too special here.

-- Rey Mysterio came out to thank the fans for their support, only to be interrupted by Abraham Washing and the Dudebusters, who came out to "greet Rey properly." They told him FCW does not like him and that he is not welcome. Rey rejoined in Spanish before they started making fun of his height. They claimed they were here to finish the job that Alberto Del Rio started. A masked tag team, Los Aviadores, came out to make the save. Rey finished with a 619 on Washington to the the delight of the fans.

(3) Lance Brisco beat Leo Kruger. "Boring" chants throughout, which was the general consensus in the arena.

(4) Lucky Cannon beat Vance Archer. Nice match with plenty of nearfalls towards the end. For some reason, even after Tuesday night's NXT, Lucky was playing a big face tonight.

(5) Bo Rotundo beat Shad Gaspard with a stiff-looking Tornado DDT. Basically a squash for Shad until Bo bounced back with the DDT.

(6) Michael McGillicutty (Joe Hennig) beat Xavier Woods (Consequences Creed in TNA) with a neckbreaker. Decent, back-and-forth match that made it tough to determine a winner throughout.

(7) FCW tag champs Derrick Bateman & Johnny Curtis beat The Colossal Connection to retain the Florida Tag Titles.

(8) FCW champion Mason Ryan (w/Byron Saxton) beat Richie Steamboat to retain the Florida Hvt. Title.

Overall Thoughts: I won't make the mistake of going to a developmental show again. The only draw was getting to meet Rey Mysterio, which ultimately, did not happen due to FCW starting the show when half of the fans were still in line to meet him.
