WWE Raw house show results
June 26, 2010
Youngstown, Ohio
Report by P. Pallotta, PWTorch reader

There were lots of empty seats to start. The cage parts for the main event cage match were off to the side at the start of the show.

(1) Evan Bourne beat Zack Ryder with Air Bourne. I expected Chris Jericho to face Bourne, but Ryder was a good replacement.

(2) Goldust beat William Regal with a snap powerslam. Regal insulted the crowd early on. He was making happy loving faces trying to get Goldust to shake his hand. Goldust just took his hand, pushed it to the ground, and stomped it.

(3) Vladimir Kozlov beat Yoshi Tatsu with a chokeslam. Vladimir was funny on the mic. When he talked, the crowd yelled "what?" after he said something, so he repeated himself.

(4) John Morrison beat Ted DiBiase (w/Maryse) with Starship Pain. DiBiase got good heat calling Youngstown a poor city.

[Intermission]

(5) U.S. champion The Miz beat R-Truth and Mark Henry in a three-way match to retain the U.S. Title. The finish came when Truth went for the Lie Detector, but he missed Miz and hit Henry instead. Miz pinned Truth for the win. Truth was bleeding from the mouth early in the match and appeared to hurt his leg badly on the finish. Truth was helped out of the ring after the match.

(6) Divas champion Alicia Fox beat Eve to retain the Divas Title with Santino as special referee. Alicia won with her scissors kick. Santino was funny and cheered as the Divas pulled each other's hair.

The WWE crew then set up the cage, which was too small. All four men in the main event had to duck in order to enter through the door.

(7) WWE champion Sheamus & Edge vs. John Cena & Randy Orton went to a No Contest in a steel cage match. The finishing sequence went like this: Orton missed the RKO and Edge threw him into cage. Edge then attempted a spear, but Randy moved, sending Edge head-first into the cage. Cena attempted the Attitude Adjustment on Sheamus, which was countered by Edge with a spear. Edge then took an RKO from Orton, who took a pump kick from Sheamus. Cena went for the STF on Sheamus, and that's when the NXT Rookies hit the ring.

Edge and Sheamus escaped while Cena and Orton were beat on. Then, Yoshi hit the ring, followed by Evan, who jumped on the Rookies from the top of the cage. Henry, Goldust, and every other wrestler on the card (minus the Divas and R-Truth) hit the ring. The Rookies were beat on, then all of the Rookies escaped except for Michael Tarver, who was thrown into the ring (locked cage) and given the AA to send the crowd home happy. All of the wrestlers then raised their hands together to close the show. (The crowd was actually cheering for NXT.)
