TNA house show results
June 18, 2010
Columbus, Ohio
Report by Ron Hall, PWTorch reader

Here are results from Friday night's TNA house show at the Daus Ice Haus. Jeff Jarrett did autographs before the show, Beautiful People during intermission, and Abyss and others in the "Autograph Party" after words.

A lot of the big stars who don't travel regularly were absent, including Sting, Hogan, RVD, Flair, and Nash. The crowd was about 90 percent full, which was a noticeable improvement from last time.

(1) Velvet Sky beat Sarita with a DDT.

Jay Lethal came out before his match and did some of his Flair routine, all the while running down Earl Hebner. Loud "You screwed Bret" chant.

(2) X Division champion Douglas Williams beat Jay Lethal, Homicide, and Shannon Moore to retain the X Division Title. Lethal hit Homicide with a nice release full nelson suplex, Williams snuck in, and got the cover for the win.

(3) Knockouts champion Madison Rayne beat Taylor Wilde to retain Knockout Title. Towards the end of the match, Hebner kissed Rayne and celebrated like he won the lottery. Rayne reversed a roll up for the win.

(4) Mr. Anderson & Kurt Angle & Jeff Jarrett beat Matt Morgan & Eric Young & Abyss in a six-man tag match. Anderson was OVER and got the loudest ovation of the night. The crowd went along with his Mr. Anderson act, which reminded me of The Rock a little. Angle got a huge ovation as well. The crowd really couldn't tell weather or not to boo Abyss because the heel turn hasn't completely happened on TV yet. Morgan got the loudest boos almost by default. Angle slipped out of an attempted Tombstone by Young and got the anklelock for the tap out.

Jeff Jarrett gave a "thank you" speech to the crowd, and it was time for intermission.

(5) Global champion Rob Terry beat Orlando Jordan to retain the Global Title. Terry won with a chokeslam. Jordan spent the whole match working on the knee to play up the TV storyline of Terry with a knee injury.

(6) Jeff Hardy beat A.J. Styles in the main event. Hardy got a loud ovation and the crowd was up simply because it was the main event. A lot of people were upset that there was no Flair, though, even though he wasn't advertised. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate followed by a Swanton for the win.

After the show, Hardy did a pose/autograph deal in the ring and other TNA wrestlers came out to sign autographs.
